【摘要】:ThispartofIEC60695specifiesthedetailsoftheglow-wiretesttobeappliedtotestspecimensofsolidelectricalinsulatingmaterialsorothersolidmaterialsforignitabilitytestingtodeterminetheglow-wireignitiontemperature(GWIT).Thetestresultsmakeitpossibletoprovidearelativecomparisonofvariousmaterialsaccordingtothetemperatureatwhichthetestspecimenignitesduringtheapplicationoftheelectricallyheatedglow-wireusedasanignitionsource.Thetestmethodisnotvalidfordeterminingtheignitionbehaviourofcompleteitemsofequipment,sincethedimensionsoftheinsulatingsystemsorcombustibleparts,thedesignandheattransfertoadjacentmetallicornon-metallicparts,etc.,greatlyinfluencetheignitabilityofthematerialsusedtherein.Inadditiontothis,itisnotvalidfordeterminingfirebehaviourandfirehazardofequipment.Oneoftheresponsibilitiesofatechnicalcommitteeis,whereverapplicable,tomakeuseofbasicsafetypublicationsinthepreparationofitspublications.
