【摘要】:ThistestmethoddescribesthecalculationoftruevaporpressuresofpetroleumdistillatefuelsforwhichdistillationdatamaybeobtainedinaccordancewithTestMethodD86withoutreachingadecompositionpointpriortoobtaining90volume%distilled.Thetestmethodmaybeusedtocalculatevaporpressuresattemperaturesbetweenthe0%equilibriumflashtemperatureandthecriticaltemperatureofthefuel.Provisionisincludedforobtainingacalculatedcriticaltemperatureforfuelsforwhichitisnotknown.Criticalpressure-temperaturedataareusuallynotavailableforpetroleumfuels.However,ifboththecriticalpressureandcriticaltemperatureareknown,thevaluesshallbeusedasthecoordinatesintoestablishacriticalpointtobeusedinsteadofthefocalpointestablishedasdescribedin;andthecalculationsdescribedinthrougharenotrequired.Ifeitheradeterminedtrueboilingpointordeterminedequilibriumflashvaporizationtemperatureat0%distilledatatmosphericpressureisknown,thedeterminedvalueshallbeusedtoestablishthelowerlimitofthebubble-pointlinereferredtoin.Themethodisnotreliablefordistillatefuelshavingaboilingrangeoflessthan100F(38C)betweentheTestMethodD8610and90volume%distilledtemperatures.Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.ThevaluesgiveninparenthesesaremathematicalconversionstoSIunitsareprovidedforinformationonlyandarenotconsideredstandard.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
