【摘要】:TheproceduresdescribedinSections7,8,and9,whenimplementedusingsuitableequipmentandproceduresineitherashoporfieldenvironment,producestrongpressure-tightjointsequaltothestrengthofthepipingmaterial.Somematerialsaremoreadaptabletoonetechniquethananother.Meltcharacteristics,averagemolecularweightandmolecularweightdistributionareinfluentialfactorsinestablishingsuitablefusionparameters;therefore,considerthemanufacturerrsquo;instructionsintheuseordevelopmentofaspecificfusionprocedure.1.1Thispracticedescribesgeneralproceduresformakingjointswithpolyolefinpipeandfittings(excludingpolyethylenepipeandfittings)bymeansofheatfusionjoiningtechniquesineitherashoporfieldenvironment.Theseproceduresaregeneralones.Specificinstructionsforheatfusionjoiningareobtainedfromproductmanufacturers.SeePracticeF2620forheatfusionjoiningofpolyethylenepipeandfittings.1.2Thetechniquescoveredareapplicableonlytojoiningpolyolefinpipeandfittingsofrelatedpolymerchemistry,forexample,polypropylenestopolypropylenes,orpolybutylenestopolybutylenes.Material,density,andflowrateshallbetakenintoconsiderationinordertodevelopuniformmeltviscositiesandformationofagoodfusionbondwhenjoiningthesamematerialtoitselfortoothermaterialsofrelatedpolymerchemistry.1.3PartsthatarewithinthedimensionaltolerancesgiveninpresentASTMspecificationsarerequiredtoproducesoundjointsbetweenpolyolefinpipeandfittingswhenusingthejoiningtechniquesdescribedinthispractice.1.4Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.5Thetextofthispracticereferencesnotes,footnotes,andappendixeswhichprovideexplanatorymaterial.Thesenotesandfootnotes(excludingthoseintablesandfigures)shallnotbeconsideredasrequirementsofthepractice.1.6Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Seespecificsafetyprecautionsin3.1.1,5.2,8.2.3.1,Note8andNote9,andA1.1.

本标准代替GB 10734-1989《第一基准试剂（容量）乙二胺四乙酸二钠》，与GB 10734-1989相比，主要变化如下：
——标准名称改为“第一基准试剂 乙二胺四乙酸二钠”；
——增加了规范性引用文件；
——修改了含量测定原理的描述；
——修改了恒电流库仑装置示意图；
——完善了预滴定的操作；
——修改了检验规则；
——取消了附录B、附录C；
