【摘要】:A.Theserulescoversupplyandcommunicationlines,equipment,andassociatedworkpracticesemployedbyapublicorprivateelectricsupply,communications,railway,orsimilarutilityintheexerciseofitsfunctionasautility.Theycoversimilarsystemsunderthecontrolofqualifiedpersons,suchasthoseassociatedwithanindustrialcomplexorutilityinteractivesystem.B.TheNESCcoversutilityfacilitiesandfunctionsuptotheservicepoint.NOTE:TheNationalElectricalCode?(NEC?),NFPA70-19991coversutilizationwiringrequirementsbeyondtheservicepoint.C.NESCrulescoverstreetandarealights(suppliedbyundergroundoroverheadconductors)undertheexclusivecontrolofutilities(includingtheirauthorizedcontractors)orotherqualifiedpersons(suchasthoseassociatedwithanindustrialcomplex).NOTE:LuminairesnotundersuchexclusivecontrolaregovernedbytherequirementsoftheNEC.D.NESCrulesdonotcoverinstallationsinmines,ships,railwayrollingequipment,aircraft,orautomotiveequipment,orutilizationwiringexceptascoveredinParts1and3.
